1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how DormData Studio ("we," "us," or "our") handles personal information when you use the SplitRoulette mobile application ("App") and associated website. We believe in privacy by design and only collect data strictly necessary to provide bill-splitting features.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information directly provided by you, as well as minimal technical data required for account function:

• Account & Sign-In Data: When you register an account using Email or Apple Sign-In, we store your email address and unique account identifier.
• Profile Details: Optional profile information such as display name and avatar picture selected by you. Avatar images are resized and uploaded securely to cloud storage.
• Guest Mode Data: If you use SplitRoulette as a guest, your split data is stored strictly on your local device (AsyncStorage) and is not transmitted to our backend servers.
• Payment Information: We do NOT collect, process, or store credit card details. All subscriptions and purchases are handled securely by Apple App Store billing.

3. How We Use Information

• To create, manage, and sync your splits across your devices.
• To calculate roulette results, cooked counts, and lucky escape statistics.
• To verify Pro entitlement status via Apple In-App Purchase verification.
• To provide customer support when requested.

4. Split History & Player Names

When creating a split, you enter player names for your group.

5. Third-Party Infrastructure & No Ad Tracking

• Supabase: Used for secure cloud authentication, database Row Level Security (RLS), and avatar image storage.
• Apple: Used for Apple Sign-In and StoreKit in-app purchase verification.
• No Ad Networks / No Tracking: We do NOT sell your data, use third-party advertising SDKs, or track your behavior across other apps or websites.
• Website Cookies: Our website does not set tracking cookies or use third-party analytics trackers.

6. Data Retention & Your Deletion Rights

We retain account data for as long as your account remains active. You maintain complete control over your data:

• Clear History: You can clear your split history at any time inside the app under Profile → Clear History.
• Delete Account: You can permanently delete your entire account and associated backend profile data at any time inside the app under Profile → Settings → Delete Account.

7. Children's Privacy

SplitRoulette is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us for deletion.
